Great Location, Comfortable Modern Rooms and Excellent Buffet Breakfast. {3 stars}

This 3-star modern comfortable hotel is adjacent the main railway station. It is part of the Steigenberger Hotel Group. It is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel lobby to the Train Departure Display Board in the centre of the railway concourse. It is less than 10 minutes from the Convention / Trade Fair complex (Messe).

It has 384 rooms over 6 floors. It has 4 elevators and a number of conference rooms of various sizes. It contains a bar, lounge and restaurant. A internet connected Personal Computer is located in the lobby. This is free for the use of guests.

A free transport card is issued to guests. It is for use on the city trams, U-bahn and S-bahn trains within the inner city. It allows travel to the airport.

I would rate the hot & cold buffet breakfast a 4.75 star. I have stayed a few times and will stay again in this hotel. I have recommended it to family, friends and business colleagues.

The rooms are sound proofed. It is possible to open the windows. It helps to allow fresh air in and some extra noise.
