Wonderful B&B with great hosts, terrific meals, great location near Gengenbach, Vogtsbauernhof. Working farm and bread making on Fridays.

Wonderful setting on a working farm - rooms above the large house-barn with lovely dining room plus other rooms in nice home next door. Elreda does a huge breakfast with egg, cold cuts, cheese and wonderful jams, etc. They make their own bread and for the village every Friday - interesting to see. Elreda is always smiling and her husband Martin speaks good English.

It is located near Gengenbach (there are 2 Gutachs so be sure to get the 77793 one) which is a lovely village, the Vogtsbaurnhof Park which is a great example of how they lived on their farms, and many other sites. Gutach has several very nice typical German restaurants. Only about $16 per person which is a real bargain.
