Splurge hotel right at Munich Airport

I had an early flight out of Munich back to the U.S. so wanted convenience. I picked the Kempinski because you can walk to the airport (which made it easy to get a reasonably priced dinner in the vicinity). Also, I wanted to use their swimming pool.

Room was quite large, spotless, and one of the best showers EVER. I really enjoyed the pool. They also have a fitness center that had plenty of equipment.

In the vicinity are stores to pick up last minute items and all of the airport food choices. Easy access from central Munich on S8. This was another splurge at 170E, but well worth it in my opinion. I felt very pampered and relaxed staying here.
