Wonderful 4* hotel with modern design and convenient location.

I got a great deal for this hotel at www.ameropa.de, a German travel agency linked to Deutsche Bahn. Four nights for the price of three, and 243 euros total, including breakfast.

The hotel was built and opened in 2007, and it still looks quite new. On the ground floor, there is a small lobby sitting area, a bar, restaurant, conference rooms, and an area where you can access the Internet for free.

My room had a king-size bed, which was very comfortable. The bathroom had a unique design, with the toilet in its own separate little room, the shower in its own separate little room, and the sink in a tiled area just outside both. This would be very convenient if two people were staying here and getting ready in the morning.

The TV has lots of channels in many languages.

The contemporary design of this hotel is quite striking. The pictures on the website are quite striking.

Service is excellent. At breakfast, I would sit down, and be asked with a smile if I wanted coffee. I would request a cappuccino, and get it promptly. The breakfast buffet is 4* quality. There is an excellent selection of loose-leaf regular and herbal teas, with teapots and their own mesh balls. I got to enjoy lingering over breakfast with a pot of herbal tea.

At night the restaurant has some musical acts from time to time.

My room, which overlooked the adjacent church, was very quiet.

Although the location is just outside the ring, I found it very convenient. I walked home from Musikverein one night, and from Theater an der Wien another night. Otherwise I walked just about everywhere.

The room had a safe that was big enough for a laptop.

I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel, and would highly recommend it.
