Great location, very comfortable

We stayed in an Executive King (bed) room on the 15th floor. The price was $234.00 Canadian per night which included the full breakfast buffet. The breakfast was excellent, waffle and omelet station, various meats, cereals, pastries, yogurt and best of all fresh fruit including bowls of blueberries or raspberries every day.

The room was tastefully decorated, ample storage for clothing, good TV, two comfy chairs and a table where we could sit and admire the view of the city. Even though the hotel fronted on a main street there was no noise.

Service was good and I even received a nice bouquet and teddy bear as a birthday gift. Housekeeping had noticed a birthday card on the table and arranged for the little surprise.

Most of the attractions and restaurants were within easy walking distance. There are tons of buses for those who don't like to hike. Very interesting was the cosmopolitan mix or inhabitants and visitors. Being the capitol city, Ottawa attracts people from just about everywhere.
