This was a beautiful luxury hotel perfect for honeymooners or a romantic getaway.

My new bridegroom and I spent 5 days at this resort and had just a fantastic time. They made the Conde Nast Traveler 2005 Gold List, and I don't know their official star rating, but I'd make a safe bet it's at least 4 or 5. Premium Over Water Bungalows run about $780 (USD), and the room prices go down from there. Various levels of food and drink packages are offered, as well. After the wedding, we wanted to relax in privacy. That is just what we got. The resort catered to almost anything we wanted to do: snorkeling, scuba diving (with two of the coolest guides I've ever been in company with), lounging pool side, even mini-golf. The spa was lovely, and the resort staff was friendly.

Breakfast buffets and lunches were great! Lots of choices and good service. The dinners were a little expensive for the quality (I'd expect more from the quality of everything else), as were the drinks but the drink quality was fabulous! My favorite was one that was served in an unshucked coconut and had vodka blended with Tahitian vanilla ice cream - yummy after dinner drink.

The dinner theater was just too much fun - after watching the Polynesian dancers do their show, they bring a number of people out to teach them the moves (this is all done after dinner is served of course).

All in all, both my husband and I highly recommend this resort. We'll likely go back for an anniversary at some point, too.
