Comfortable, convenient, clean with a staff as helpful as could be.
Four of us booked three rooms for seven days. When one of us, at the last minute, had to cancel all but one night in the middle of the stay, the staff treated us politely and worked successfully to re-rent the nights that they could have charged us for.
Our rooms ranged from the mini-standard to the suite. All were generously sized and had modern bathrooms. Even the mini was adequate, and we were warned in advance that its bath was small and contained only a shower, no tub.
The suite was positively spacious and with a couch and many comfy chairs, it provided a great area for all of us to gather between plays.
The decoration is traditional and does not indulge in over-the-top Victorian frou-frou though the hotel is a historic, hundred year-old building. Though it's not lavish, it is fresh, comfortable, clean and very quiet.
Downstairs are a restaurant that served a decent Sunday brunch (we didn't dine in otherwise since Stratford has so many excellent restaurants to explore) and a pleasant pub that serves good pub grub and provided a great place to watch to World Cup games.
The Queen's Inn is about 3 blocks from the Avon and Studio Theaters and about a 20 minute walk from the Festival Theater. Parking is free on an adjacent open lot.
