Very good bistro with a delightful outdoor dining area - perfect for the summer.

Directions: In Vieux Montréal on rue McGill (corner rue des Recollets)

More than just a bistro, Boris Bistro is a popular and lively spot for a dinner. In warm weather, Montrealers flock here for the lovely outdoor seating area, although the interior is fine as well. The menu consists of creative Québecois takes on traditional bistro food and it's signature side dish is french fries fried in duck fat. If you are at all inclined to try them, I'd recommend doing so - they were crisp on the outside, soft on the inside and very tasty. Moderately priced. Reservations recommended.
