Fine dining in Croatia

Directions: Volosko harbour,a short walk from Opatija

Having recently travelled and dined throughout Croatia, we had many a memorable experience,of which the highlight was an evening at Le Mandrac in Opatija.

The menu is mainly seafood and we decided to go with this as it gave us the opportunity to sample a wide variety of dishes, all of which were superb. Using top quality local produce and cooking to a very high standard is what this place is all about. An inhouse bakery and smoking their own fish along with an eclectic wine list are just some of the elements that put this restaurant at the very top.

We were a group of four and paid £25 each approx, with service in the top bracket also.
