When: 2009

In the narrow streets of Hvar town, it is a nice courtyard restaurant, with a great evening atmosphere and lots of good seafood.

Directions: Near the main square in Hvar town, on very narrow street. The website gives good visual directions.

This restaurant appeared popular, a happening place in the evening. The courtyard was nicely lit and quite romantic despite lots of people. You can see the grilling area, and it was mouthwatering. We had a first course of smoked seafood, and it was wonderful. It was followed with a whole grilled John Dory for my husband. I chose a traditional fisherman's dish, which was authentic and generous, but a bit bland for me. The service was great, and the dessert (crepes with sour cherry sauce and ice cream) was amazing. We'd certainly return for both the setting and the quality of the food.
