The top cafe/restaurant in the area - open all day, seven days a week with a wide range of cuisines to suit all tastes.

Directions: This cafe/restaurant is located right on the esplanade next to the famous Boat Shed.

During our weekend getaway to Batemans Bay, we visited the Starfish Deli a couple of times, for a meal, and just for a delicious cappuccino. There is both inside and outside dining. Waiters are attentive and the service is quite fast.

They are introducing a webcam soon, although this won't replace the thrill of actually being there, waiting for your order and seeing a flurry in the water next to the window - looking out and seeing a fin appear! When we hurried outside, we were amazed to see a dolphin right next to the footpath outside the restaurant. It was high tide, so it was only a couple of meters away from us. It had come in close after a fish.

The menu caters for a wide range of tastes and we always enjoy their pizzas as well as the local fish on offer. All the menus for the day are up on their well designed website. It's a fun place to eat with great views, good food and good service. I'm looking forward to going back there again soon.
