Location

These condos are conveniently located in Radium, within walking distance to many amenities. Nestled in the mountains, with trees outside the balcony, this property is very private and peaceful.

Nearby Amenities

Although it is convenient to many services, you would pretty much need a car, just to get there. It's a beautiful 1-1/2 hour drive southwest of Banff, and a car would be beneficial in getting to the hot springs, golf courses, ski hill, or to Windermere Lake.

The House/Apartment

These are "townhouse" type condo's, two-story with private entrance on the front and patio with BBQ out back. The complex was built in 2001.

Garden

There is access to an indoor swimming pool adjacent to the property. The property is nestled in the trees, with many trails and walking areas around. Each unit has a patio.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

This unit was perfect. The furniture is brand new, and very contemporary. There is a family room downstairs, which is perfect for the kids (TV and DVD), while the adults sit upstairs (TV & VCR). The master bedroom has a queen bed, and the other bedroom has bunk beds and a double bed. There is a double futon in the family room. All very comfortable!

Kitchen

All the amenities of home and more! Stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, BBQ, pots, pans, plates, utensils... Just bring some spices if you plan to cook--there are none in unit.

Problems or Bonuses

This is an exceptional value (less than $100 CAD per night!)for this year-round playground with golfing, skiing (panorama ski hill is 30 minutes away), hot springs, mountains, hiking, fishing...need I say more! We're going back! p.s. There is a $200.00 cleaning deposit, refunded after inspection at the conclusion of your stay.

Alpine Lodging are very friendly and helpful for local information. All English speaking.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I would stay here in a heartbeat! Hopefully for Thanksgiving this year! I certainly recommend this to my friends, family, and anyone who'll listen!

Things to do in this area

Radium Hot Springs, several golf courses, Windermere Lake (water ski boat rentals, jet ski rentals), fishing, hiking, skiing in the winter.
