On Friday (May 5) we did a very nice hike in the Cotswolds, starting in Lower Slaughter, along the river to Upper Slaughter, then up into farmer's fields. At one point, we had to walk across a field full of cows and they started following us. The hike took about four hours and we made it back to Lower Slaughter just in time for a late Cream Tea.
Pot of tea, pot of hot water, scones, jam, and clotted cream. Just what we needed! |
