From the book "The hilltop towns of the Flora valley": "On the left outside wall of the church is a volcanic stone carved in low relief from the 12th century. The carving shows a nobleman with his hands thrust into the mouths of two dragons. The symbolism of this gothic carving refers to the superiority of spiritual strength over brute force."
