An interview by Pauline with Diana Baur who runs Baur B&B, Acqui Terme (Piedmont), Italy - www.baurbb.com. Steve and I stayed at Baur B&B on a recent trip to Italy. Acqui Terme is a beautiful spa town in the Piedmont region, just north of Genoa and the Liguria coast. Baur B&B is a lovely farmhouse sitting on a hillside above the town. Swiss Cowbells
When you hike in Switzerland you share the trails with the cows, goats and other hikers. Each time we return to Switzerland, I do not consider myself really there until I am out on a trail and I hear these cowbells. This, for me, is the sound of the Swiss Alps. These cows were on the trails near Gstaad and Saanen in the Bernese Oberland. July 2007 - 20 seconds
