The Slow Travel Community

Since the website started in spring 2000 and the message board in spring 2001, a wonderful community has gathered. Most of the community interaction takes place on the Message Board, but community is also strengthened by our reviews (vacation rentals, hotels, restaurants), our Trip Reports and our Photo Gallery. See below for more information.

	Trip Reports Read our Trip Reports: This is our most popular section! Read these travel journals written by other Slow Travelers. Learn from their experiences to plan your trip or do "armchair travel". We have hundreds of great trip reports.
	Trip Calendar Trip Calendar: Slow Travelers post their trip plans here so they can arrange to have GTGs (Get ToGethers) while traveling. You must be registered to view the calendar.
	Slow Trips Photo Gallery Visit our Photo Gallery: We have over 15,000 photos from Slow Travelers trips. Look at photos for places you are traveling to and post your photos after your trip. Slow Travel Photos: Photo essays to go with travel notes and Instructions for Visitors sections. These are mostly Pauline's photos (and are more "factual" than "beautiful"). The Cats Pages: Photos of Slow Travelers cats and dogs (on Slow Trips).
