The Axor Feria is about 10 minutes from the airport. {3 stars}

We flew into Madrid in the evening and were going back to the airport the next morning to pick up our rental car. The Axor Feria (recommended by a slow traveler) is about 10 minutes from the airport (E55/nt) with a free shuttle to and from.

It is a modern business hotel done in red, black and white. Our room was a nice size with a very modern bathroom and good A/C. Only Spanish TV channels and dubbed movies.

I was having trouble with new SIM cards and the young women at the registration desk allowed me to use their phone to call Cellular Abroad, which turned out to be a 10 minute call; they refused any payment.

The hotel is just a few blocks from a large shopping mall with a variety of shopping mall food.
