Superb hotel with a breathtaking view. {4 stars}

After the Parador de Ronda this is the second best hotel to stay if you come to Ronda to marvel at the amazing sight of the 330 foot deep Tajo gorge. The view from the bridge is spectacular, but seeing it from your own room late at night and at daybreak is magical.

Upon arrival we were offered the last room available, the Marrakech suite which doesn’t have a balcony but for this altitude fearing human, the view from the window was enough to excite and scare me.

The room was exquisitely decorated in a very elegant Moroccan style. A big comfortable chair and plenty of woodwork made this room very cozy and warm. The beautiful bathroom had a picture window over the bathtub overlooking the gorge.

The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful during our short stay. She seemed to be working double shift and doing double duty since we saw her attending the front desk in the evening and helping with the breakfast the following morning.

We paid €160 for our stunning room. The staff parked our car at an off-site garage. The total for a one night stay was €187.25 for room, garage fee plus tax. Not cheap but worth every penny.
