Four perfect nights at a classy, comfortable, and beautiful hotel in a delightful small town. Plus expansive breakfast and gourmet restaurant. {4 stars}

This is a beautifully designed, small, and highly comfortable hotel tucked in among the lovely small streets of Baeza.

Our room and bath were perfect (my husband and I are very tall and the bed was comfortable and large). We had a small private patio where we could sit, and we also took advantage of the comfortable lounges around the pool in the main courtyard.

The staff was helpful, pleasant, and attentive.

One night we ate at the hotel’s restaurant – what a gourmet treat!

As I have read somewhere online, this would be a perfect hotel for a honeymoon couple, but it would be just as perfect for anyone wanting an upscale stay in a small, historic town.

Two short blocks from the hotel is a panoramic view of the mountains and olive groves below. One note about the hotel parking: The hotel offers underground parking on the street behind the hotel. (Both the hotel and the garage were a puzzle to find.)

With all those tiny streets, I thought that the garage was really our only option. But on the third day I realized that we might also have found parking just a block or so away on the public street overlooking the beautiful mountain views. Parking in the hotel garage was 15 euros on the weekend and 12 euros on week days. For a four-day stay, this came to a bit much.
