San Sebastian is a sea resort on the Atlantic coast, mentioned in Hemmingway's book "The Sun Also Rises". Pamplona is famous for the annual "Running of the Bulls" also featured in Hemmingway's book. Bilbao has become popular recently because of the new Guggenheim Museum.

Barcelona on the Mediterranean coast has the Gaudi buildings. Madrid is the largest city.

The southern cities of Seville and Granada are supposed to be wonderful and the Costa del Sol, the coast on the Mediterranean in the southern part, and the Costa Blanca, just a bit north, are supposed to be fabulous beach places.
