"Our" bar while in Barcelona for two months

We rented an apartment about 200 metres from Bar Pi - first thing we always do is find a "local" and Bar Pi felt right from the beginning.

A small space with a few tables tucked upstairs - one of the upstairs tables has a fantastic view over the bar below and out into the Placa......it soon became "our" table. (there are lovely tables outside in the Placa as well)

Tapas are fairly standard and good - especially the artichokes and the crab claws - but mainly we stop for a cerveza and to chat with Sammy - our favourite bartender. One night we met four chefs who were in town from Bangkok at a conference - lots of interesting types at Bar Pi!
