Cambados: Bodegon O Casal

A great cafe stop in the winemaking town of Cambados.

Bodegon O Casal is a small cafe restaurant on one of the main streets of the winegrowing town of Cambados, just up from the main square.

They have tapas and serve their own bottling of Albarino by the glass or bottle, even to go. Their Albarino is a fine example of the local wine and a steal at €1.50 per glass at the bar or €8 per bottle to go.

The owner is a very friendly guy who will bring a complimentary tapa when you order your wine. For tapas, the shrimp cooked in garlic (gamba ajillo) is delicious as is the housemade tortilla (egg and potato omelette.)
