Excellent Barceloneta restaurant

Had a lovely lunch for two in this well known seafood restaurant. Started with anchovies (in oil, delicious), fried small fish (all things fried are good) and seafood croquettes (fried = good).

My husband had cod with peppers - superbly cooked but it wasn't hot enough when it got to the table - I had the Catalan stew - fish, prawns, calamari in a spicy pepper/tomato sauce served tableside from a paella pan. Very good.

The lobster soup also looked very good and many ordered paella which looked delicious.

Lunch for two with a bottle of wine and a glass of wine was 90 euro - it looks like we were lucky to get a table (in February mid week) without a reservation so reservations are advised.
