Croquetas, Baccala and Beer

Directions: Just across the El Corte Ingles Department Store near Puerto del Sol

Note: This establishment has a proper restaurant area and a tapas bar type area. My review is about the tapas bar only! This one I found because I was curious about the immense line in front of it - maybe around 70 people.

When it is finally your turn, you order how many of what you want. The choices are Cana (beer), croqueta (the best in Madrid for me) and bacala (fried codfish pieces). They have a huge platter of each directly next to the cashier and you get your plate immediately then you go to the bar to gather your cana.

Freshest and yummiest food! Lovely tiles on the walls, too. No sitting opportunity, you stand around the walls. My best tapas bar.
