When: 2007

Highly touted, inexpensive and wonderful tapas bar with tiny restaurant in back. Get there early!

Directions: Right off Plaza San Lorenzo

This restaurant was suggested by our hotel staff and I had also read about it online. It's a tiny place that opens between 8 and 8:15 pm. By 8:45 it's packed. Get there early to get a seat at the bar. They have a menu chalked on a blackboard, and we found item after item that we loved. Went back two evenings in a row.

Before or after you eat, sit out on San Lorenzo plaza and enjoy the local folks. It's a social gathering place; we actually saw a wedding on each of the two nights we were there. Enjoy!
