A wonderful place to drink and buy wine in the heart of the city.

This combination wine bar/wine store is on a main street just up from the city's main square. During the day, only the store is open.

In the evening, a bar in back of the store and a loft with several tables open up for drinking and eating. There is a list of wines by the glass from the whole of Northern Spain and a menu of local specialties such as Tetilla, a soft cheese resembling teleme. They have cheese and meat plates, stuffed peppers, and other dishes available. It is a better place for a plate or two on a bar crawl, then for an entire meal. The young women who work the rooms are very friendly though a little Spanish comes in handy.

The store is an excellent place to buy wines and other gourmet items to take home or consume in your travels.
