Barcelona: Pinotxo

La Rambla 91 (Boqueria Market) , Phone: 93.317.1731

Closing day: Sunday

Probably the best known bar at the Boqueria Market

Bar Pinotxo is famous for squid with white beans served with balsamic vinegar - a delicious dish. We also had gambas (shrimp) and a separate dish of chick peas but for us the real star was foie gras quickly pan fried and served with a balsamic reduction over toast... delicious.

It's hard to figure out how to order at first but sit close to the cooking action and you'll see what's being ordered - also most of the staff speak English so it's no problem to find out what's good that day.
