This restaurant was recommended by our hotel after we specifically asked for an inexpensive local favorite.

We found it to be only average in food quality, and quite expensive ... even for Madrid.

For a party of two with three shared dishes, one glass of house wine each, and no dessert, our bill came to almost 60 euros.

I'm sure there is better food and better prices in Madrid. Perhaps this restaurant offers a 'thank-you' to the staff of area hotels for recommendations.
