3bed/2bath apartment in Seville (Sevilla), Andalusia WhenAugust 2004, 2 weeks LocationSan Eloy was in a spectacular location right in the heart of Sevilla (Seville). Walking distance to every major site. Nearby AmenitiesAll amenities were within a 10 minute walk. Groceries, Internet cafes, Outdoor tapas restaurants, bus terminal, world famous shopping, all sites. Everything is within walking distance! The House/ApartmentThe apartment was very quiet, situated on the corner where two pedestrian streets meet. I believe there were maybe 6 apartments. This apartment was located on the first floor. The main floor was a dress shop. San Eloy is a very beautiful pedestrian street. GardenThere were two balconies. One off of the living room area had a table and two chairs for enjoying a glass of wine and people watching. The second balcony off of the master bedroom could have been used for the same enjoyment. The most pleasant surprise was an inner courtyard lined with trees and flowers. This courtyard was quite private and was accessed from the main hallway and the kitchen. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasThe furniture was antique and of superior quality. There was ample room for the three of us who enjoyed this property. It would be very suitable for two families. The two bedrooms in the front area of the apartment seemed to be separate from the back bedroom and bathroom. The back area also had a reading room/den area. Bedrooms/BathroomsThe beds were very comfortable which truly made this property complete. The two bathrooms had showers and were well equipped; both had bidets. KitchenThe kitchen was definately well stocked for cooking. With the corte de ingles around the corner many meals were prepared here. Problems or BonusesNo problems of any kind. The spaciousness and cleanliness were definitley a wonderful treat which made for the most unforgettable stay in Sevilla. Agency and Representatives (and price)The Agency was fantastic to deal with. hey spoke fluent English and were very accommodating. The web site pictures and write up did not give this property justice. When we arrived we were speechless; it more than exceeded our expectations. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?Absolutely!! My only reservation has been to write this review and tell the world about this treasure. However I feel the owner of this property does deserve the credit and hopefully on my return to Sevilla it will be available again. Things to do in this areaAll of the major sites are within walking distance. Our favorite tapas bar was the San Eloy. With its tiered staircase seating and wonderful tapas selections it is definitley the best Tapas bar in Sevilla (and just a 2 minute walk). The agency suggested Taller Flamenco School for our study of flamenco dance, on very short notice they contacted them and gave us times and fees. The agency answered all of our questions in such a timely manner we were able to get into the local rythym immediately. I believe it is because of this great experience we had in Sevilla with this agency and property that we are venturing off on another "Slow Travel" holiday this August to Italy.
