1bed/1bath apartment in Seville (Sevilla), Andalusia

When

May 2007, 3 nights

Location

Our apartment in Seville was in the heart of the old city very near the Cathedral. The street was lively with two bars/cafes across from the apartment so it was sometimes loud with talking and singing.

Nearby Amenities

Many small cafes, groceries, fruit and wine stores were on the street or on close by streets.

The House/Apartment

The building was in excellent condition, very clean, and well decorated. There are five apartments in the building itself.

Garden

There is no outside sitting area but there is a small balcony overlooking the street.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The furniture and decorations were lovely. The sitting area is with the kitchen in one large room with the bedroom separate.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The beds were very comfortable.

Kitchen

We cooked in the kitchen every day that we were there and it was very user friendly.

Problems or Bonuses

No surprises, it looks just like the pictures on the website.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

We called the contact at Seville5 when we arrived in Seville and he met us at the apartment with the key. We paid cash immediately for the three nights as he does not take credit cards. Luckily there was a cash machine right on our street.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I would stay here again any time I travel in Seville. It's not for everyone as it is on a lively street which some people would find loud although the windows close with additional shutters which shuts out any noise. Air conditioning works well so the windows can be shut if necessary. We liked the sounds of the street and left the windows open unless the patrons of the bars across the street were singing flamenco songs too loud.

Things to do in this area

The apartment is very close, about two blocks, to the Barrio Gothic, the Cathedral, and the Alcazar. It is a residential area with the bonus of being very close to everything.
