Location

Mas Talaia is set amidst rolling hills and farms. Beautiful rustic views, great for walks or running, short drive to terrific local restaurants, easy access to Banyoles, Girona, Barcelona.

Nearby Amenities

Great local restaurants and stores with necessities are a short drive.

The House/Apartment

This is a large old farmhouse that has been meticulously and tastefully renovated. Beautiful unique bedrooms with their own baths offered privacy as well as nice common areas to relax, including a large patio great for meals together with a group, and a pool to cool off or relax with the views or read a book.

Garden

Nicely landscaped, views of the country side, quiet pool, very private.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The house was well laid out, clean, airy, and in excellent condition.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

Bedrooms were comfortable and unique, each with it's own private bathroom.

Kitchen

The kitchen was large and open, conveniently adjacent to a large outdoor patio and an open living area.

Problems or Bonuses

We were surprised with a delightful paella dinner cooked by our hosts on a paella dish as large as our dining room table at home!

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Doorways made everything easy, and was a lifesaver when we lost our passports, making what could have been a traumatic experience incredibly unstressful. The owner of the villa, who lives nearby, is an art historian who led us on several terrific tours.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Absolutely yes!

Things to do in this area

Our favorite activity was to walk around Lake Banyoles, and relax at the cafes along its shore.
