Best B&B experience
Stayed June 26-27 ; CHF220.00 per night. We had a most enjoyable stay with Corina and Dave. They were personable and very accommodating.
The chalet was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Dining room, living room, outdoor deck and kitchen are on the ground floor. 2 bedrooms and 2 baths are upstairs. When we arrived, drinks and cake were served. Dinner recommendations were given. We ate simple at the cafe run by a Brazilian family, 10 minutes walking from the chalet. The salad and steak were good.
The morning breakfast were lavish - juice, coffee, muesli, cheese, meat, fruits, croissant, homemade bread, homemade jam,cereal... Eggs and bacon were offered! We had soft boiled eggs! Corina baked a lemon cake for our afternoon snack. There were fruits on the dining table.
The location was very quiet. Our stay was too short. Corina mentioned that during ski season, guests stay for a week. Dinner is prepared and Dave drops you off at ski lifts - the nearest one is 7 minutes from the chalet. Family can have dinner served to children first!
We were lucky to be able to have a short stay there. We visited Sion and we took a short walk to Nendaz direction. Dave offered to drop us off at walking trails. The area was nice and quiet.
If we go back to the area, we'd love to stay there again.
