Pontresina: Grand Hotel Kronenhof

Excellent spa facility - but men need a jacket, dark suit for dinner.

Enjoyed the newly renovated room with nice mountain views. The spa-sauna, steam bath ... and the swimming pool area were new! There were also a children's playroom with toys. The breakfast was good, too. Too bad we were not able to eat dinner there because my husband didn't take his jacket with him.

The town of Pontresina was very nice to walk after dinner. If you visit that area with a car, you should drive your own car to the cable car station. We used trains the first day and spent more time waiting for trains.
