Instructions for Visitors

If you remember these two phrases, you will understand why things work the way they do in Switzerland. "Waste not, want not" explains turning off your car while waiting at a stop light and all the automatic lights in the hallways. "For every thing a place and every thing in its place" helps you understand the shoe scraping bar outside the train station doorway or the very organized vacation rentals.

This section contains my notes about doing things in Switzerland. This is not a Survival Guide - survival is easy in Switzerland. These are Instructions for Visitors - how to do things correctly, so you will fit in and life will be easier.
