We drove from New Mexico to Hannibal, Missouri where we picked up the Great Mississippi River Road and drove it south to New Orleans and beyond. We put a little over 4900 miles on the car over a 35 day period. Not exactly SlowTrav but what road trip is?

Our family of five traveled from Munich to the Swiss Alps, to Valle D'Aosta (Italian Alps), to Annecy, France (Rhone-Alpes), to Alsace (Haut Rhin) and then finally to Fulda, Germany which is in the Rhön mountains of central Germany.

We spent a week in the Cotswolds visiting the various towns, hiking/walking and basically touring using mass transportation. Then another week in London, seeing the sites and enjoying the food!
