Rome: Karlena, Kendra and Pat at our "leased" apartment cooking dinner December 24, Friday The Matthews clan left the house at 5:00pm because Pat was concerned about the prospect of heavy traffic. However, no traffic at all. Where was everybody? We parked at Corporate Parking, as usual, and took the shuttle to the airport. We had Christmas Eve dinner (at the entrance of Newark Liberty Airport of Gate 61) consisting of turkey and ham and cheese hoagies and chocolate bar and pound cake -- purchased beforehand at A&P Supermarket. Very festive!! |
