Page 5 of 12: A Side Trip to Cody, WY

at the museum in Cody

Red Lodge, our home base, is a one-street town, very friendly, lots of shops and places to eat. One day we took a side trip to Cody, Wyoming, about an hour away, home of the Buffalo Bill Museum. What a fun and fascinating place – I finally learned all about the Wild West Show and what a remarkable man Bill Cody was. The museum includes a beautiful art exhibit, and if you’re into guns, this place must have the world’s largest collection. It was a most enjoyable visit, including our drive there and back on the beautiful Chief Joseph Highway.
