Moulin d'huile a noix on our way to Cougnac

The next day was cloudy again, and we went to Cougnac caves for a visit with a stop on the road at one Moulin a l’huile de noix. After a short tour we purchased a big bag of nuts and continued to the caves. Cougnac had two separate caves to visit, one with drawings and the other one without. It is a great visit with kids as it is not too long but still very interesting.

The night before our departure we cleaned the mobile home as much as possible so we had only to do some remaining cleaning in the morning. Our son was sad leaving his friends, but they exchanged addresses and emails and he received a postcard even before we returned home. So we left at 8:30 in the morning.

We prevented the GPS from losing us again by taking the road to Souillac and then getting on the freeway. After breakfast at one of the freeway restaurants we drove through Carcassonne with a couple of picnic stops at the aires. We arrived in Arles in the afternoon and after checking into our huge quad room with a huge bathroom at the Best Western Atrium hotel, we went for a walk. This hotel is well located not only for visiting Arles but also for leaving on a market day.
