> SlowTrav > Trip Reports Report 1960: Walking in the Dubrovnik Area with RamblersBy Linda Hagstrom from Pennsylvania, Spring 2011 Page 9 of 9: Planning TripsI never get tired of taking photos of Dubrovnik This was the end of a trip in which I visited Malta, Sicily and Southern Italy, and Croatia (and Paris!). Sometimes when I'm making all these reservations, I wonder if it will be worth all the effort and if I'll actually get there. I worried about my flights from Bari to Dubrovnik, because there were three to take, and one of them running late could mess everything up. Plus, the first flight was Alitalia, well-known to have problems. But it all worked. I had particularly wondered if the Croatia part wasn't overdoing it. As it turned out it was well worth the effort and worries to get there. Even early in the year, April, Croatia is a spectacularly beautiful country and I enjoyed getting to know everyone in our group. We had some wonderful walks in Croatia.
