Our lunch at Chez Papa

After refreshing, I invited my husband and son to walk through a few toy stores to our lunch destination Chez Papa in the 2nd arrondissement.

We walked through Galleries Vivienne and visited the toy store Si tu veux. It is a very cute store with old fashion toys. We purchased our son a plane with elastics and it was a bit expensive, Ä7, but it was his special first toy in Paris. We then walked to La Grande Recree, where he chose two airplanes. The wind was pretty cold.

We then sat at the terrace Chez Papa and ordered huge salads and an omelet, with wine. We were on vacation.

The food was simply delicious and very affordable. For pictures and reviews see my blog Delicious France.

We then walked to le Passage des Princes for more toy shopping. DH and son forgot a transformer to connect the Nintendo DS and I thought it was a good place to buy it. They had two to three models on display; however the sales associate told us we should know the exact model of the DS. Oh well, we purchased a couple of toys there such as a bus, and another airplane and walked back to our hotel. We took the DS and returned to the store, but then the associate found out that the power set we wanted to buy could accommodate any DS model except 3D I believe. So, they made us walk back and forth for nothing and other clients had some issues at the cash register. The personnel didnít want to assist an old couple buying more toys for their grandson, not sure why, but they were there for a while when we arrived.
