BJ's Aunt Elise at 99
Day 33 through Day 35 were spent driving through Texas, seeing my sisters and my nephew. I did want to add one last picture though. It is a picture of my Aunt Elise, my Dad's sister. She will turn 100 in July, 2013 and is a remarkable woman. We had a really good visit with her when we were in New Orleans. I just had to share a little bit of her.
This was one of the best road trips ever. We met so many wonderful people, saw so many amazing things and really had a great time experiencing the US. I urge anyone who is even the least little bit interested in great Americana to do at least part of this trip. We can't wait to do the Northern part in a couple of years.
