Page 7 of 12: Indulgent Dining

As expected from the weather forecast, we awoke to an overcast day, very different from the bright sun of the day before. We enjoyed a fresh and varied breakfast, featuring local smoked salmon trout and scrambled eggs and a beautiful fresh fruit platter then took a trip into the town to browse the rather overpriced clothing and homeware stores, before retreating back to the Auberge for a quiet afternoon of reading and pottering. I had booked one of the noted restaurants, the Bon Vivant, before we arrived, and we had a wonderful meal there.
