We had our usual breakfast in the apartment. We didn't have any milk having forgotten to buy some yesterday. There weren't any grocery type stores open this early so I was very thankful when the proprietor of the boulangerie across the street took pity on me and sold me some from the back of his shop.

The taxi picked us up right on time at 10:00 and the trip to the airport was pretty quick and uneventful.

The terminal was very crowded as there were some tour groups arriving when we did. We arranged for our VAT refund and got through the various lines without a problem.

It was a smooth flight home and the end to a wonderful vacation.

We didn't do everything we wanted but that's why there will be a next time. We managed to enjoy every minute of our time in Paris whether in the parks, museums or just walking through the various neighborhoods, And we had some great meals and absolutely nothing that we regretted. Thanks to all on Slow Travel who offered suggestions as they made the vacation much more enjoyable.
