> SlowTrav > Trip Reports Report 491: Maremma: Lost in a Tuscan KansasBy Alice Twain from Italy, Summer 2004 Page 7 of 7: Things We Could Have Done, But Chose Not To DoMainly, we didn't visit the park. Hey, we only had six days!!! Still, I can't help suggesting you to visit it. Have a guided visit; their guides are amongst the best in Italy. If you can ride well, you can contact the Azienda Agricola and spend one day riding with the butteri, taking care of the hordes. Butteri ride with a saddle called "scafarda" and with a style similar to the cowboys. If you have only a moderate skill in riding, there are several places that offer horse riding and mounted tours of the park.
