Destinations: Countries - Italy; Regions/Cities - Florence, Rome, Tuscany, Venice Categories: Hotels/B&Bs; Vacation Rentals; Art Trip; Day Tours; Sightseeing; Independent Travel; 3-4 people Page 1 of 13: Introduction
Colosseo My husband, myself and our university age child, known as the Navigator, traveled to Italy in July 2004. Traveling and learning about other cultures has become a major part of our lives. We have shared this love of travel with our children from the time they were born and now they have become world travelers of their own choosing. After having found Slowtrav.com we decided to try some apartment accommodations for this trip. We are delighted that we did, as we had more space, a refrigerator and place to prepare some of our meals and the cost was more reasonable in the cities where hotel rates can be quite high.
