The Luke’s have finally succumbed to our years of incessant whining and agreed to shut us up by allowing us to disrupt yet a third one of their vacations. They will introduce us to their Italy. Along the way, I suppose we can anticipate a few laughs, some misadventures, and the consumption of a bottle or two of vino. We’ll try to avoid complaints of rowdyism from neighbors this time.

Friday, April 12

Carolyn has the house and Shannon well in hand when we leave on schedule at 10:00. The lawn clippings are deposited at the dump and we are officially on vacation. Our flight to Atlanta is delayed by the same Georgia weather that’s disrupting The Masters.
