Comfortable and homey B&B made extraordinary by owners Val and Tom Rothwell.

This B&B on the outskirts of Kilkenny is a little like visiting the home of a favorite aunt, not fancy but comfortable and homey with good beds, nice bathrooms and a very good breakfast.

The owners, Val and Tom Rothwell, make it very special. Val took us under her wing and helped us with restaurant recommendations and sightseeing suggestions. She is warm and welcoming and a pleasure to know. Her husband Tom is full of Irish charm, gathering everyone for a few songs and stories in the parlor after breakfast. The price was extremely reasonable as well.
