The way things work in the UK & Ireland is not so different from North America (except that you drive on the left), but this section documents the things that I think are different. This is not a Survival Guide - survival is easy. These are Instructions for Visitors - how to do the every day things so that you will fit in and life will be easier.

	Speaking English in England Language Lessons: American English vs. United Kingdom English. Yes, they speak English, but some terms are different from those we use in North America.

	Computers, Electronics Our Europe Trip Planning section has information that is common to countries across Europe. Internet Access: To access the Internet in the UK and Ireland, use Internet Cafes or take your computer with you. Recommended free ISP for England. (In the Europe Trip Planning section.) Bringing your Electronics to Europe: For most electronics (camera chargers, computers, etc.) all you need is are plug and phone adapters.
