Cathedral Cities

Pauline Kenny

England has many beautiful and historic cathedrals that are worth taking the time to visit. I have tried to find a list of the historically significant cathedrals. The few cathedrals that we have visited from this list were incredible to see and well worth seeking out.

A cathedral is the church where the Bishop has his seat. For example, the Abbey in Bath is not a cathedral because the Bishop of Bath and Wells has his seat in Wells.
