When: 2008

A chain of dim sum restaurants, serving fresh dim sum all day. Good dim sum, although less "homestyle" than in traditional dim sum teahouses.

Directions: On Westboune Grove near Queensway. Other locations in London.

We adore dim sum, and so it was a treat to be able to eat it for dinner. You order from a printed menu, instead of selcting from carts as in traditional dim sum teahouses. The har gaw were full of sweet minched shrimp, and the coriander versions were also excellent. Spicy pork dumplings packed a lot of heat, prawn toast was crisp and tasty, and steamed chinese broccoli was crunchy and fresh. Lots of interesting teas and drinks, short wine list. Dinner for two with drinks was 26 pounds.
